Before new development was started on the WATT site, DIFT organized a temporary use here. It started in September 2015 and closed its doors in autumn 2016.
“A Valhalla for design and culture lovers”
WATT: Dift, Jiggers, etc.
DIFT was proud to take the lead for the temporary use of this old office building in Ghent on the Nieuwe Wandeling. Activities were organized under the temporary infill on all three floors of this piece of architectural history.
The plant shop [T A K] was on the ground floor and the men from Jiggers opened a cocktail bar called Pony’s. In addition to the cocktails, you could also enjoy a delicious coffee or cappuccino in Charlene De Buysere’s cozy coffee shop.
On the first floor, in addition to its own DIFT Gallery, you will also find the Not Too Arty magazine store, a fashion lab by Black Balloon, espoo., ateljé, brunch spot BOOM and MTwalls – the ideal remedy for empty walls.
And the second floor was completely converted into an exceptional business space.
