The transfer of ownership is scheduled for 2025 and will revitalise this emblematic industrial site in Brussels
Revive, a specialist in large-scale ‘brown to green’ regeneration projects, has signed an exclusive purchase option with Solvay’s former headquarters at the Neder-Over-Heembeek site in Brussels. The 22ha site is strategically situated between Brussels airport and the city centre of Brussels encompassing approximately 100,000 sqm of office space, R&D labs and light industrial space.
Solvay will retain its headquarters on the site and become a tenant of a modernised building with office space and laboratories tailored to the company’s specific needs. The remaining part will be redeveloped to accommodate a diversified mix of tenants and owner-occupiers.
Following a due diligence period, Revive will be able to exercise the purchase option and enter into a sales agreement. If all conditions are met, the transfer of ownership is expected to be completed in 2025.
This agreement illustrates the commitment of both partners to promote sustainable solutions while maintaining the industrial and innovative activity of the site.
